Aliens throughout the universe have
calculated that this Earth, our home planet, will complete its environmental
suicide by the year 2000.
Computers on 1000 planets have taken into account all the various social,
environmental, medical and interlocking factors, and their calculations
leave no percentage for error. On, or by the year 2000, all man-related
life will have essentially ended.
Our neighbors in space have decided to take a "hands-off" attitude.
They are actively observing our accelerated rush toward oblivion with increased
attention, as the millennium approaches. In the annals of intergalactic
history, this event will be recorded as Deathwatch 2000.
The numbers. O.K. here goes. DeathWatch is a comic
in itself as it is a miniseries so it has issue numbers but at the same
time you will see they have also numbers for each separate title as series
2 of those titles. To read them in order, follow the Deathwatch issue number.
