Over the past couple years we've heard people mention the POD Gallery and how fantastic their printing is. They've teamed with such artists as Jeffrey Jones, Greg & Tim Hildebrandt and other talented artists to create extraordinarily high quality printings to hang on your wall. Recently we spoke with them and come Thursday Neal Adams will be the newest addition to their site. We've made available to them 6 pieces some new some old, none were ever available as large prints. What's so exciting about the prints is the quality. Specifically the printing on the watercolor paper, and the canvas. Neal's favorite is the watercolor paper. The effect you get is it looks like you've hung the original painting on the wall. Art with black line and Neal's watercolor/dye paintings look the best this way. Some works offered of Neal's look really cool on canvas such as the sketches and the paintings done in acrylic. Either way you get something wonderful to hang as art on your wall. Something of top quality. Neal spent some time with POD recently to adjust colors on the computer to match colors to his satisfaction. All the Neal Adams prints at POD Gallery are closely color corrected by Neal himself.  A happy Customer Hi, I recently purchased several of Neal's POD Gallery prints, and am very impressed with the quality.  I have been wanting to display some of Neal's Tarzan paintings ever since I discovered them some thirty years ago, but was never completely satisfied with what was available (I had a couple of the portfolio plates framed, and they made a pretty nice presentation, but I still wanted something more dynamic). I just picked up the Slashing Rage print (from "Tarzan and the Leopard Men" - my favorite painting of Neal's) and had it framed. It is now the centerpiece of my art collection - a truly incredible piece (the watercolor print cannot be described - it has to be seen!) that captures what I have always enjoyed most in Neal's work (for me, the definitive Tarzan artist). Thanks! Thom The canvas can be stretched over a wooden frame and hung just like that. The watercolor paper looks great with torn edges mounted slightly raised from the back of the frame. Among the first 6 are: Nine Eleven : Probably the most famous piece Neal has done in recent years that is not comic/fantasy related. CNN News and other stations have covered this illustration. Grit : This one is an attention grabber. Here Neal shows his mastery of a slightly different genera than you might be use to seeing. It's not often you get to see a Neal Adams illustrations with such intense sexual content. Jawbone : Until now this was never printed in Neal's own color version. The line work was used in our Savage mouse pad. To complete Jawbone, Neal re-colored it himself, intensified the art in markers and followed with acrylic highlighting. Noble Savage : Our top seller. This is the one Neal's fans will be most excited over. People may have seen a light quality black & white version of this but until now could never have a true print of this. This does not exist in the Neal Adams Portfolios. Savage Revenge : This is proof that even Neal's preliminary sketches hold up as wonderful art on their own. This is a everyone's favorite. Tinted brown it fits most home or office decors. An excellent choice for those concerned with where to hang fantasy illustration. Waiting : The barbarian's portrait. The menacing face as only Neal Adams could construct. This is new art and never printed before. Only available now. There you have it. Seeing these in person is even more impressive.
